Cleveland fans have gone through some really difficult moments, so we have to really enjoy these great moments. LeBron James hit an incredible game-winning 3-pointer last night. I’m still amazed.

On Saturday, the Chicago White Sox closer, Bobby Jenks, threw a fastball behind the back of the batter, the Texas Rangers’ Ian Kinsler. This occured during a one run game, so Kinsler represented the tying run. There was basically no chance Jenks actually wanted to hit him, putting the tying run on base. But Jenks admitted following the game that he threw inside intentially to send a message he wouldn’t stand for White Sox hitters being hit by pitches. I had the chance to catch a Cleveland Indians game in person Friday night. A couple times a year my dad and I head up to Jacobs Progressive Field to see if the Tribe can put some hits together and get a win.  So I could rant about the Indians getting only two hits on Verlander or the fact that Sizemore had a game-winning homerun thwarted by Granderson’s spectacular catch, but instead, there are a few other things from the game worth discussing.

I write a post for this blog maybe only once a week, which is a real shame because I have plenty to share. I think it’s about time I get serious about writing some quality, thought-provoking content. And you know what would be even better than thought provoking? Conversation provoking.
So how do I plan to go about being a more conversation-provoking writer?

Today is Cinco de Mayo, which means I’m thinking about drinking Mexican style. One beer I really love is Dos Equis. Wikipedia tells me that Dos Equis was originally brewed in Germany in the 19th century, but as far as I can tell, it is now brewed by Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma Brewery in Mexico.
