Over the last month or so, I’ve been doing some thinking about the tying of shoelaces. Seriously. About a month ago, I noticed someone (I think it was my sister) double-knotting her shoes. But I’m a single-knot kind of guy, and I always have been.
Then today, I was putting my shoes on and I realized that the way I go about it has either changed from when I was younger, or be different each day, with no real pattern. What do I mean by “the way”? I noticed that today, …
Product placement is not a new idea. For years, brands have been appearing in movies and TV shows due to more than coincidence. Friday night, I went to see Transporter 3 at Cinemark Carriage Place Movies 12. The Transporter series features lead actor Jason Statham. It also features the Audi A8 W12. The placement of the Audi A8 W12 in the Transporter series appears to be a perfect match. It is a high performance sports vehicle showed off in numerous chase scenes, yet the vehicle has a sort of classy …

A few months ago, I purchased my first Blu-ray player. And I have to admit, it has been awesome. For anyone in the market for a Blu-ray player, I highly recommend the Sony BDP-S350. And with winter setting in, my fiancee Janette decided to get me the gift of Blockbuster Online for Christmas so we could take full advantage of the Blu-ray player with freezing temperatures outside. We had discussed Netflix before, but we’d agreed that Blockbuster’s similar program had a great added benefit of in-store exchanges.
The gift was specifically …
