If you’re ever starved for my writing and the one or two posts a week here just aren’t enough for you, this is a reminder that I also write on the b&a blog. When I started my blog, it was to serve as an outlet for thinking that didn’t always seem relevant or appropriate for the b&a blog. I try to split my writing pretty equally between the two locations.

A few months ago, I purchased my first Blu-ray player. And I have to admit, it has been awesome. For anyone in the market for a Blu-ray player, I highly recommend the Sony BDP-S350. And with winter setting in, my fiancee Janette decided to get me the gift of Blockbuster Online for Christmas so we could take full advantage of the Blu-ray player with freezing temperatures outside.  We had discussed Netflix before, but we’d agreed that Blockbuster’s similar program had a great added benefit of in-store exchanges.

I saw this video on CNN.com and it really has me thinking. Watch the video if you haven’t yet.
On Wednesday, November 5, the day after the presidential election, the Sapulpa Daily Herald (Oklahoma) did not report the election results. I had been looking at an election map last week and I noticed that nearly 2/3 of Oklahoma votes were for McCain.
So naturally, one might jump to the conclusion that the newspaper decision makers weren’t pleased with the election results and therefore chose to not run the story. The Obama voters …
